Career


Born in 1964 in Basel, Peter Münch studied in Basel and Lausanne and graduated in 1988. He received his PH. D. from the University of Basel in 1989 and became a Swiss Federal Supreme Court Clerk the same year. He completed his training as attorney in 1993 in Basel.

Between 1994 and 1999, he was a scientific collaborator at the Swiss Federal Supreme court where his activity was focused on Intellectual Property Law, Corporate Law and Civil Liability Law.

Peter MÜNCH is a professor at the Zurich University of Applied Science (ZHAW), School of Management and Law, where he has been teaching law, particularly Commercial Law, since 1999. He is a director of the Business Law Department and member of the Board of the ZHAW, School of Management and Law.

Peter Münch is co-founder and co-editor of the series "Handbücher für die Anwaltspraxis" and the author of numerous scientific publications on issues including Litigation, Contract Law, Labour Law, Construction Law, Civil Liability, Intellectual Property Law and Competition Law.

Peter MÜNCH joined Gros & Waltenspühl in 2000 as counsel.
